Data processed
We process only information supplied voluntarily: name, contact details, desired position, message, CV, photograph, and professional or educational information supplied by the candidate.
We do not request an IDNP, banking details, copies of identity documents or special categories of data. Do not include such information unless it is separately requested and legally justified.
Purposes and legal bases
We use data to receive and review an application, contact the candidate, prepare or administer a CV, identify opportunities and, when needed to fulfil the candidate's request, present the professional profile to a potential employer.
Processing is based, as applicable, on consent, steps requested before entering into a contract, legal obligations and legitimate interests in protecting the service and the parties' rights.
CV builder and the user's device
A CV draft is kept only in the browser's local storage and is automatically deleted 30 days after the last save. It can be deleted at any time. Delete the draft after use on a shared device.
Photographs selected in the builder or for upload are re-encoded in the browser to remove hidden metadata such as EXIF. PDF, DOC and DOCX files are not automatically modified, to avoid damaging their contents.
Recipients and providers
Data may be accessed by the authorised PESTE ORIZONT person and necessary providers of hosting, storage, authentication and email within their assigned roles. Relevant professional information may be disclosed to a potential employer. Data is not sold or used for behavioural advertising.
If a provider processes data in another country, the transfer takes place only with the safeguards required by applicable law.
Retention and deletion
Applications, CVs and files are retained for no longer than 6 months after submission and are then automatically deleted unless a legal obligation or another justified basis requires a different period. A candidate may request earlier deletion.
Security
Files are kept in private storage. Administrator access and download links are protected and time-limited. File limits, request validation and separation of public and server keys are applied.
Individual rights
Under Law No. 195/2024, you may request information, access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing. Consent may be withdrawn by email and a complaint may be lodged with the National Centre for Personal Data Protection.
PESTE ORIZONT does not make employment decisions solely by automated means.
Cookies and changes
The site does not use behavioural analytics. Only technical elements necessary for authentication and operation may be used. Material changes will be published on this page with a new effective date.
